Polyurethane Clear Sealer

Professional Polyurethane Clear Sealer is a 2 component clear topcoat for application over epoxy systems to produce a glossy finish. Professional Polyurethane exhibits good pot life and drying characteristics for maintenance, transportation, and other applications. Professional Polyurethane also leads the competition in terms of durability with excellent oil, gas, and solvent resistance as well as hot tire pickup.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

RESIN TYPE: Acrylic Polyol

 

VOC:

  • Less than 400 g/l

 

COLORS: Clear

 

FILM THICKNESS: 3-5 Mils per coat. DO NOT exceed a wet film thickness of 6 mils.

 

COVERAGE

Apply at the rate of 150-300 square feet per gallon, depending upon the condition, texture and porosity of the substrate.

 

WARNINGS

WARNING!: COMBUSTIBLE. Do Not store near heat or near possible ignition sources.

 

WARNING! Reacts dangerously with water, bases, alcohols, and amines. May be toxic if inhaled. Eye, skin and respiratory irritant. May be a sensitizer.

 

To safely use this product read and abide by current safety data sheet.

Open and close containers cautiously.

 

FIRST AID:

EYE: Wash immediately flush eyes with large amounts of water for at least 15 minutes, lifting eyelids occasionally to facilitate irrigation.

SKIN: Immediately remove all soiled or spattered clothes and shoes. Wash immediately and thoroughly with plenty of soap and water. Consult a doctor if irritation persists.

INHILATION: Remove victim to fresh air. Consult a doctor if problems persist.

INGESTION: Get immediate medical attention. If victim is fully conscious, induce vomiting.

APPLICATION

SURFACE PREPARATION:

Surface must be sound and free of contamination from dirt, oil, wax, releasing agents, etc. If necessary clean with appropriate cleaner, rinse, and allow to dry completely. New concrete surfaces must be allowed to cure a minimum of 30 days, be acid etched, and allowed to dry thoroughly. Previously treated, stained, or painted surfaces must be sound and clean Test for product compatibility before proceeding.

                  

APPLICATION:

Brush, roll, or spray. 

MIXING INSTRUCTIONS:

Stir both Part A and Part B thoroughly before mixing. In a clean container blend Part A with Part B in a ratio of 4.6:1 by volume. Stir blended components thoroughly. Do Not mix more material than can be applied in 3 hours.

THINNING: MAK. Thinning is normally not recommended.

DRYING TIME:

  • Touch ----------------------1 Hour
